Advances in molecular markers of honey bee mitochondrial DNA

蜜蜂是一类重要的传粉昆虫,分布在除南极洲外的世界各地.蜜蜂线粒体DNA(mtDNA)具有母系遗传的特点,即单个蜜蜂的mtDNA特征可以代表整个蜂群的mtDNA特征.利用母系遗传的优势,线粒体分子标记技术在蜜蜂中应用广泛,并随着限制性内切酶技术和测序技术的发展而日益成熟.本文对蜜蜂mtDNA结构、mtDNA分子标记及多态性的应用研究进行了综述,旨在为蜜蜂的进化分析和物种遗传多样性提供见解.
Honey bees are important pollinators with a worldwide distribution,except in Antarctica.The mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)of honey bee follows matrilineal inheritance,so the mtDNA characteristics of a single bee can represent the entire colony's mtDNA characteristics.Mitochondrial molecular markers have been utilized in honey bee population's genetic structure analysis to take the matrilineal genetic advantages.The advancement of restriction endonuclease and sequencing technology has led to the increased using of mitochondrial molecular marker.Here,we review the research on mtDNA genomic structure,molecular marker technology and usage in honey bees to offer insights into the evolutionary analysis of honey bees and the genetic diversity of species.
