There are a large number of active faults in the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,forming one of the most active areas of earthquakes in China.As the elite force of search and rescue,the People's Armed Police Force shoulders the sacred mission in carrying out the task of earthquake disaster rescue.At present,there are still some problems in the earthquake rescue equipment of the PAP,such as the relatively weak reliability of equipment,the relatively insufficient diversified support,and relatively poor coordination of equipment.In order to better respond to earthquake rescue mission,putting forward some development initiatives from the aspects of improving the scientific and technological efficiency of the equipment,strengthening the environmental adaptation of the equipment and improving the equipment support system,which provides a reference for improving the rescue equipment capacity building.
