In this thesis,basic parameters,seismogenic tectonic background,aftershock sequence,building damage and earthquake damage characteristics of Wushi earthquake on January 23,2024 are introduced,the emergency rescue actions of governments at all levels and departments and industries after the earthquake are summarized,the experience of earthquake emergency preparedness in Xinjiang is discussed,and the enlightenment of earthquake prevention,disaster reduction and relief in the future are put forward.
