At 11:59 on December 18,2023,an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in Jishishan County,Linxia Prefecture,Gansu Province,China, causing serious casualties and economic losses. The destruction of buildings in the earthquake-stricken area was relatively common, and caused a rare mud flow disaster. It brings about new challenges and enlightenment to the development of emergency rescue and SAR technology and equipment.Based on the investigation of the buildings, infrastructure and secondary geological hazards in the key disaster areas, and the recent research results, the main characteristics of the earthquake disasters are analyzed, and some suggestions are put forward on how to carry out theoretical research and technological development in this thesis to help further enhance the search and rescue capabilities of buried personnel caused by earthquakes and their secondary disasters, with some in-depth analysis and discussion carried out.
