By analyzing the fire rescue case of Changsha Telecom Building on September 16,this paper discusses the potential fire risks of high-rise buildings with different construction years,defines the main direction of the rescue principle of"consolidating first"for high-rise buildings,and expounds the actual combat functions of facilities and equipment such as fire elevators,smoke control and exhaust systems,and refuge floors;this paper points out the emergency situations and specific solutions in the process of water supply,search and rescue,internal attack and other rescue,and puts forward ideas on how to strengthen the actual combat capability of water supply equipment for high-rise buildings in the next step.
