Through an investigation of ethnic minority disasters cases,it was found that there is a significant gap in emergency language services in ethnic minority areas.Through questionnaire surveys,mathematical statistics and other methods,an interpretative structural model for six influencing factors of emergency language services in ethnic minority areas was established,the relationships among the factors were sorted out and stratified and the empirical analysis and suggestion discussion was conducted by using the Jishishan earthquake in Gansu.The research results indicate that customs and habits derived from ethnic culture have a significant impact on emergency language services in ethnic minority areas,among them,religious beliefs is the fundamental influencing factor and spoken and writing languages are the direct influencing factors,the synergistic effect of the two on food culture,accommodation habits,animal cognition and other indirectly influence factors which hinder on-site rescue and reconstruction for ethnic minorities after disasters.By conducting research on the culture of ethnic minorities,which adapting to the actual situation of numerous ethnic groups in China,it is conducive to the post disaster rescue and coordinated deployment of personnel in the region.
