Objective:To investigate the current status of quality evaluation management in Grade Ⅲ hospitals in Jiangsu Province and analyze the factors influencing the establishment of internal quality evaluation mechanisms. Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted via"Questionnaire Star"targeting hospital leadership, administrative departments, and clinical and technical departments in 41 Grade Ⅲ hospitals in Jiangsu Province.Data were collected on the current status of quality evaluation management and the approval rate for constructing internal quality evaluation mechanisms. Results:Significant differences were observed in hospitals of different grades and types regarding awareness of hospital grading review and new standards, proactivity and problem identification ability of administrative departments, frequency of inspections by superior departments, frequency, consistency, and duplication of checks conducted by administrative departments on clinical and technical departments, application of management tools, emphasis on indicator management, and timeliness of feedback(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hospital type(specialized Grade Ⅲ hospitals),administrative departments, clinical and technical departments, and understanding of hospital grading reviews significantly influenced the approval rate for constructing internal quality evaluation mechanisms(P<0.05).Conclusion:Continuous optimization of internal management and exploration of internal quality evaluation models tailored to hospital-specific needs are essential for promoting high-quality development in Grade Ⅲ hospitals.
