奥地利维也纳音乐与表演艺术大学(Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien,mdw)音乐声学系—维也纳声音风格研究所(Institut furmusikalische Akustik-WienerKlangstil,IWK)是致力于音乐声学、表演科学、心理声学与音乐心理学的跨学科研究所,近年来完成了许多具有国际影响力的科研项目.其中,在2021年9月开始的奥地利科学基金项目"维也纳的标志性声音:量化分析维也纳爱乐乐团新年音乐会"中,IWK团队采用可发现、可获取、可互操作以及可重复使用(Findable,Accessible,Interoperable,and Reusable,FAIR)的数据管理模式来探索这一著名文化名片的全方位特征,扩展了语义音乐信息的工作流程,有效助力了数字音乐学与表演科学的突破性发展,同时也向更广泛的数字音乐研究群体提供了能重复使用的数据集,并为跨领域出版实践的深入对话奠定了基础.
Abstract
The Department of Music Acoustics-Wiener Klangstil(Institut für musikalische Akustik-Wiener Klangstil,IWK)at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna(Universität fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien,mdw)is a transdisciplinary research institute dedicated to basic research in the fields of music acoustics,performance science,psychoacoustics,and music psychology.The institute has completed many internationally influential research projects in recent years.For the Austrian Science Fund project"Signature Sound Vienna:Quantifying the signature sound of the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concerts,"the IWK team is gathering,digitizing,and aligning the recordings of the concert series,making them available as a digital corpus of linked open data following the principles of Findable,Accessible,Interoperable,and Reusable(FAIR)research data management.This approach will potentially not only facilitate the further development of musicology and performance science but also provide a useful and reusable dataset for the wider digital music research community,fostering further dialogue in publication practices between these fields.
