Preliminary Study on Seed Germination Characteristics of Eryngium foetidum Linn
In order to explore the suitable condition of seed germination of Eryngium foetidum Linn,the effect of room temperature storage time 、temperature 、sowing media water content and sowing depth on seed germination of Eryngium foetidum Linn was tested.The result was as follows:when seed of Eryngium foetidum Linn was stored in room temperature,with the storage time last,seed viability lost gradually,in practice,the suitable storage time was no more than twelve months in room temperature,the suitable temperature of seed germination of Eryngium foetidum Linn was about 30 ℃,the suitable sowing depth was no more than 1.5 cm,seed germination of Eryngium foetidum Linn required relative higher media water content,the suitable sowing media water content was about 60％.
