Effects of Microwave Radiation and Hormone Presoaking Seeds on Germination and Seedling Growth of Cyclobalanopsis glaucoides
The U12* (1210) uniform experiment design was applied to trail effects of microwave radiation and GA3,IBA,IAA presoaking seeds on germination percent (GP),basal diameter (BD) and seedling height (SH) of Cyclobalanopsis glaucoides. The results showed that different level combinations (DLCs) of microwave radiation and exo-hormones significantly affected germination and seedling growth (PGP=0.042<0.05,PBD=0.030<0.05 and PSH-=8.41 E-05<0.01).The mean GPs,BDs and SHs of the DLCs were 39.67%-62.67%,1.95-2.16 mm and 11.84-15.85 cm.Among the factorial levels, only four levels of the IAA showed the significantly different effects on the SHs under 90% of confidence coefficient (p0 =0.054<0.1).The IAA was the primary factor of influencing the seed's GPs and young seedling growth (YSG) of Cyclobalanopsis glaucoides. The treated combination of the 10 s microwave radiation,0.04 g/L IAA and high concentrations (≥1.0 g/L) of the GA3 favored the seed's GPs and the YSG of Cyclobalanopsis glaucoides.
