Study on the Difference of Seed Germination and Salt Tolerance of Four Brassica napus varieties in Xizang
To study the germination characteristics and salt tolerance differences of four Brassica napus seeds in Xizang, the germination, morphological, and physiological indicators of the four Brassica napus varieties were measured under simulated salt stress environments with NaCl solution concentrations of 0,50 mmol/L,100 mmol/L,150 mmol/L,200 mmol/L,250 mmol/L and 300 mmol/L.The salt tolerance of the four Brassica napus varieties during germination was compared, and a comprehensive evaluation was conducted using a membership function. The results showed that the germination and morphological indicators of the four Brassica napus varieties showed a decreasing or first increasing and then decreasing trend with the increase of NaCl concentration.Under different NaCl concentrations, the average germination rate, average germination potential, average germina-tion index and germination index of Brassica napus seeds in Dadi95 were the highest. The ternary pol-ynomial model had the highest coefficient of determination and the best fitting effect in fitting the trend of relative germination rate of four Brassica napus seeds with NaCl concentration changes. The best fitting equation was y=ax3+bx2+cx+d.The half lethal concentration and 90%lethal concentration of Dadi95 Brassica napus seeds were higher than those of the other three Brassica na-pus seeds. The membership function value of Dadi95 was the highest and had the best salt resistance.
