Comparison about Application of Various Analysis Methods in Sesamum indicum Variety Breeding
In order to comprehensively evaluate the yield characteristics and balance of Sesamum indi-cum varieties,and screen high-quality sesame varieties,this experiment used 20 high-generation Sesa-mum indicum varieties as research materials to comprehensively analyze 1 000-grain weight,plant height,number of capsules per plant,average yield per plot,yield per plant,fruit axis length and number of effective sections.The results showed that Z06,Z12 and Z16 were superior to the check variety Z10,so they could be selected as the emerging strains for the next regional test.As the multi-dimensional analysis method,radar map and grey correlation degree analysis method could compre-hensively evaluate multiple characters,and evaluate the object more objectively and accurately,which was suitable for Sesamum indicum variety breeding.
