Evaluation and Screening of Salt Tolerance of 46 Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.Germplasm at the Germination Stage
Salinized soil is an important reserve soil resource for agricultural development in China, and screening salt-tolerant varieties is an important basis for salinized agricultural application. In this study,46 varieties of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.seeds at germination stage were treated with 18‰ NaCl stress.By measuring germination rate, germination potential, germination index and rela-tive salt damage rate, salt tolerance of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.germplasm at germination stage was evaluated and screened. The results showed that under salt stress, the genetic diversity of germination stage indexes of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.was abundant, and the coefficient of variation ranged from 48.95%to 75.01%.The results of cluster analysis showed that 46 varieties of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.could be divided into three categories:salt-tolerant,medium salt-tolerant and sensitive. At the same time,3 varieties with salt-tolerant and 2 varieties with high sensi-tivity were selected.
