Evaluation and Screening of Salt-alkali Tolerance of 36 Chenopodium quinoa Willd.Germplasm Resources at the Seedling Stage
In order to explore the differences in salt-alkali tolerance of different Chenopodium quinoa Willd.germplasm at the seedling stage,36 Chenopodium quinoa Willd.germplasms were treated with 150 mmol/L salt-alkali concentration(NaCl∶NaHCO3=4∶1)at seedling stage.11 indexes, including plant height, leaf area and leaf relative water content, were determined by principal component analy-sis and other statistical methods. The germplasms of Chenopodium quinoa Willd.suitable for growth in Shanxi Province was screened. The results showed that there was a certain degree of correlation among various indexes of Chenopodium quinoa Willd.germplasms under saline-alkali stress.A total of 5 principal component factors were extracted in this experiment, and the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 74.947%,which could replace most of the information of 11 indicators, showing the saline-alkali resistance characteristics of Chenopodium quinoa Willd.seedling under saline-alkali stress. Moreover the D value of comprehensive evaluation of saline-alkali resistance was calculated, and based on the D value, the 36 germplasm resources were divided into 4 categories. There were 5 high saline-alkali tolerant germplasms,14 saline-alkali tolerant germplasms,11 weakly saline-toler-ant germplasms and 6 saline-alkali sensitive germplasms.
