Identification and Expression Analysis of WOX Gene Family in Docynia delavayi
In order to investigate the function and expression pattern of Docynia delavayi WOX gene family from Yunnan Province,a genome-wide identification of WOX Docynia delavayi gene from Yunnan Province was conducted by bioinformatics. The results showed that there were a total of 20 DdeWOX genes in the Docynia delavayi genome of Yunnan Province, which were unevenly distribu-ted on 12 chromosomes. The length of the family members ranged from 176 to 877 amino acids, containing 2 to 9 introns encoding 17 to 50 amino acids. The phylogenetic results showed that DdeWOX gene could be divided into 3 clades.Transcriptome data of 4 fruit development stages and 5 seed germination stages were analyzed, and 6 genes were randomly selected for RT-qPCR assay to verify the overall accuracy of the transcriptome. It was found that DdeWOX13a/DdeWOX11 had high expression levels at different stages of fruit development, suggesting that these two genes could be involved in the fruit development of Docynia delavayi in Yunnan Province, and there could be func-tional redundancy between them.In addition,DdeWOX2 was obviously expressed during the adult stage of seed germination, which suggested that DDEWOX2 could be involved in the regulation of seed germination. It was worth noting that DdeWOX13a was also significantly expressed during seed germination, suggesting that this gene could play a regulatory role in both seed germination and fruit development.
