Study on the Activity of Endogenous Inhibitory Substances in the Seeds of Tulipa thianschanica Regel
The effects of organic phase extracts of Tulipa thianschanica Regel seeds on seed germina-tion,seedling growth and antioxidant enzyme activities of different recipient plants were studied to explore the activities of endogenous germination inhibitors of Tulipa thianschanica Regel seeds. The results showed that different concentrations and types of extracts inhibited seed germination and seed-ling growth of recipient plants to a certain extent, and the root length was the most obvious, and low concentration promoted high concentration inhibition on seedling height, and the endosperm had a stronger inhibitory effect than that of whole seeds. At a certain concentration, the activity of antioxidases(CAT,POD,SOD)in the recipient plant increased, but the activity decreased when the concentration reached the threshold. The results showed that the endogenous inhibition of Tulipa thianschanica Regel seed germination had a certain effect on different recipient plants and there were differences.
