Cadmium Accumulation Characteristics and Yield Differences of Different Local Varieties of Pueraria montana var.thomsonii under Cadmium Stress
In order to investigate the effects of different Pueraria montana var.thomsonii varieties on cadmium absorption, transport and yield under cadmium stress,a field experiment was conducted to study the cadmium accumulation characteristics and yield differences of 7 local Pueraria montana var.thomsonii varieties in farmland soil with high cadmium geological background. The results showed that under cadmium stress, the cadmium content in different parts of different varieties was as fol-lows,from big to small:reed head, main vine, leaves, root bark, root. The difference between varie-ties of reed head and root bark was greater than other parts. The cadmium content of root tuber of dif-ferent varieties was the smallest of 0.24 mg/kg,which exceeded the national limit value of 0.10 mg/kg for root vegetables. The Pueraria montana var.thomsonii Heshui reed head and main vine were more likely to accumulate cadmium, and the root bark of Xiye Pueraria montana var.thomsonii had the strongest barrier and accumulation capacity of cadmium, and the content of cadmium accumulated in the root of Pueraria montana var.thomsonii Guifenge No.1 and the root of Xiye Pueraria montana var.thomsonii was relatively low,and the planting economic benefit was better than other varieties.
