Effects of Salt Stress on Seed Germination Characteristics of Poa pratensis L.
In order to explore the effects of salt stress on seed germination characteristics of Poa prat-ensis L.varieties, the germination related indexes of 30 Poa pratensis varieties were determined under NaCl treatment, and the membership function method was used to comprehensively evaluate their germination performance under salt stress. The results showed that after salt treatment, the salt dam-age rate of'Baron','Black Jack'and'Explorer'was lower than 35%,the salt damage rate of'Pure Blue'and'Explorer was the lowest, and the germination index of'Explorer'was the lowest and the average germination time was the shortest. In contrast, the salt damage rate of'Merit'and'Blue Best'was as high as 90%,and the salt damage rate of'Blue Best'was the highest and the germination index decreased the most. The comprehensive evaluation showed that'Fielder','Merit'and'Blue Best'ranked lower, and their seed germination was more sensitive to NaCl,while'Explorer','Baron'and'Pure Blue'ranked higher, and their seed had strong salt tolerance during germination.
