Comparative Transcriptome Analysis between Embryo Ebortion and Normal Fruit of the Prunus pseudoceresrs'Manaohong'
In order to explore the molecular mechanism of normal development of Prunus pseudocer-esrs'Manaohong'despite embryo abortion, this study used Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology to perform transcriptome sequencing and correlation analysis on samples of Prunus pseud-oceresrs'Manaohong'embryo abortion and normal fruit at different developmental stages. Results showed that 98.87%of Clean Reads and 86.24%of Mapped Reads were obtained, with Q30>94.21%.A total of 43 673 differentially expressed genes were screened, among which 8 213 differentially expressed genes were common to all sample combinations, mostly distributed in the FPKM from 0 to 0.01 range.Enrichment analysis showed that the differentially expressed genes annotated to GO participatedin molecular function, cell components, biological processes, and so on,and most of them participated in biological processes. The differentially expressed genes annotated to KEGG path-way were involved in 18 branches of five pathways:environmental information processing, biological system, genetic information processing, cell process and metabolism, and most of them were annota-ted to metabolic pathway.A total of 2 002 differentially expressed genes predicted to be transcription factors were annotated to 53 transcription factor families, among which ERF family was the largest.Study showed that the gene expression difference between Prunus pseudoceresrs'Manaohong'embryo aborted fruit and normal development fruit was great in expansion stage, and the gene expression difference gradually decreased from fruit color transformation stage to fruit maturity, which could be the cause of normal maturation of embryo aborted fruit.
