Comprehensive Evaluation on Quality Traits in Saccharum officinarum Based on Multiple Statistics Analysis and Projection Pursuit Method
In this study,Xintaitang22 and its 7 hybrid Saccharum officinarum varieties(lines)were selected as the research objects.The diversity analysis and projection pursuit method were used to evaluate Saccharum officinarum sucrose content,fiber content and other 11 quality indexes.The results showed that the sucrose content of Saccharum officinarum was positively correlated with the direct conversion of Saccharum officinarum juice and the conversion of Saccharum officinarum juice.The fiber content of Saccharum officinarum was negatively correlated with the juice yield,sugar yield and water content of Saccharum officinarum bagasse,and positively correlated with the conversion of Saccharum officinarum bagasse.The results of path analysis showed that sugar-related indexes(juice weight,juice sucrose content,gravity purity,juice direct conversion light and boiling liquid weight,etc.)had direct positive effects on Saccharum officinarum sucrose content,while Saccharum officina-rum juice sugar and bagasse boiling liquid related indexes(juice weight,gravity purity,juice conver-sion light and boiling liquid conversion light)had direct positive effects on Saccharum officinarum fiber content.The 13 quality indexes were classified into 3 principal components by principal compo-nent analysis,and the cumulative eigenvalue contribution rate was 85.17%.Based on principal compo-nent analysis and projected pursuit classification(PPC)analysis,the comprehensive evaluation of different Saccharum officinarum quality indexes was found,and the comprehensive score of Guitang09-439 was the highest.The Saccharum officinarum varieties(lines)could be divided into 3 groups by cluster analysis.Hetang11-157 was the Group Ⅰ with high sugar and high fiber.Guitang09-439 was Group Ⅱ,which was a precocious high-sugar variety.In this paper,the same high-sugar Saccharum officinarum germplasm resources,Guitang09-439 and Heitang11-157,were selected by using multivariate statistical analysis and projection pursuit method,and it was found that the projection pursuit classification could be used as one of the ways to screen a large number of Saccharum officinarum germplasm resources.
