Genome-wide Association Analysis of Growth Habit-related Traits in Wheat Seedlings
The growth habit of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)seedlings is an important agronomic trait in wheat seedling stage. In order to explore the gene loci that control the growth habit related traits of wheat seedlings,a natural population consisting of 210 wheat varieties(lines)with abundant genetic variation was used as experimental materials, which were planted in Tangshan,Hebei Province from 2021 to 2023,respectively.High-throughput sequencing technology was used to study the growth of wheat seedlings Genome-wide association analysis was performed. The results showed that there were 11 SNP loci(segments)significantly associated with the growth habits of wheat seedlings, which were distributed on chromosomes 1B,2A,3B,5A(3),5B(2),6D,7B and 7D,among which 3 loci(segments)were detected in multiple environments, respectively on chromosomes 5A(512.39 Mb)and 5B(605.61 to 605.63 Mb),7B(610.85 Mb).
