During the period of The War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,the environmental health of Yan'an and the poor living habits of the masses deeply affected the people's health and even the process of the revolutionary cause.In order to change the ignorance,superstitious belief and unhygienic habits of the people and promote the development of the health cause in Yan'an,the Communist Party of China and the government organ-ized a large-scale health exhibition in the Yangjialing auditorium of Yan'an in July 1944,which mainly focused on health and epidemic prevention,maternal and infant health and anti-witchcraft superstition.In addition,ex-tensive publicity and social mobilization were carried out from the aspects of exhibition preparation,atmosphere,process design and model evaluation.The health exhibition,with its rich content and various forms of publicity,has generated a strong ideological resonance among the general public,which has played a positive role in the pro-motion of public political identity,the dissemination of scientific and health concepts and the promotion of the com-bination of Chinese and Western medicines in the treatment of illnesses.
