Mobai's novel Sleepwalkers takes the history of the Cultural Revolution as the narrative theme.The"poetic"artistic exploration and the"folk"spiritual background serve as the two wings of his historical narrative.In the novel,Mobai completes the poetic expression of historical narration with a series of modernist narration tech-niques rich in avant-garde spirit.Based on his folk life experience,he created the literary geographical space Yinghe Town as an important fulcrum of historical narrative to analyze the deep roots of historical disasters.In addi-tion,Mobai deconstructs the traditional grand historical narrative mode from the perspective of"folk",shows its own cultural vision and value orientation,which highlights his new historical view of fiction.
