The decorative theme of"Kai Fang Banquet"is common in the Northern Song mural tombs,and its image structure and painting techniques are slightly different from the previous ones,and the types are more diversi-fied.The presentation of the image of the tomb owner and his wife is divided into two types:"the image of the tomb owner and his wife sitting opposite to each other"and"the image of the tomb owner and his wife sitting side by side".The material and cultural elements such as furniture,costumes and musical instruments in the image are ex-tremely rich,which not only reflect the material and cultural life of the upper class in the Northern Song Dynasty,but also reflect the spiritual culture life of the Northern Song Dynasty in terms of music and dance performances,aesthetic entertainment and funeral rituals.
