Combining literature and experimental research methodology, this research selected 40 students with round shoulders and head forward by morphological posture measurement as test subjects.Randomized con-trolled trial were applied.40 male college students were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, and were separately grouped to receive functional training and traditional strength training. They received 60 minutes of functional training and traditional strength training, three times a week for eight weeks. The two groups of students were tested, and the data were collected and compared. After 8 weeks of functional training, the angle of static head forward and round shoulder posture of the experimental group had decreased, while the control group had no significant change. The results showed that the functional training group had better correction effect on head forward and round shoulder hunchback than the traditional strength training group(P<0.05).Functional training is an effective method to improve college students'head forward and round shoulder hunchback.
