There is a complex connection between economic operation and social stability.This article empiri-cally analyzes the relationship between economic growth,economic fluctuations,and social stability.The results show that the effect of economic growth on social stability is disequilibrium,the total output growth has a positive effect on easing social conflicts,but it can also stimulate the criminal offenses;The expansion of consumption scale has led to an increase in civil and commercial disputes.Investment growth is conducive to improving the ability of resolve social contradiction,and trade growth promote social contradiction resolution effectively.Output fluctuations can lead to changes in the growth rate of civil rights violations,and moderate inflation will help effectively resolve social conflicts.Therefore,it is recommended to adhere to the general principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability,emphasize both the prevention and governance of social contradictions,set reasonable economic develop-ment goals,strengthen consumer supervision,expand political and legal infrastructural investment,ensure steady growth in foreign trade,and promote stable and healthy economic and social development.
