Fibronectin type I structural module 1-5(1-5 FNⅠ)has a variety of extracellular matrix molecule recognition and binding sites,and plays a role in physiological processes,such as cell adhesion and migration.In this paper,the position and structure of 1-5 FNⅠ and its interaction with extracellular matrix molecules are reviewed,and the application prospect of 1-5 FNⅠ in the repair and regeneration of peripheral nerve injury is discussed.
