Objective To study the effect of rehabilitation nursing intervention on ankle range of motion and pain in patients with trimalleolar fracture. Methods From January 2019 to December 2023,86 patients with trimalleolar fracture admitted to the Yin City Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given rehabilitation nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.Compared to two groups before treatment and nursing after six months of ankle range of motion and visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Comparison of two groups of the rate of good nursing satisfaction and ankle. Results Before nursing, there was no significant difference in ankle range of motion and VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 months of nursing, the above indicators of the two groups were improved, and the observation group was better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of nursing, the nursing satisfaction and the excellent and good rate of ankle joint in the two groups were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Rehabilitation nursing intervention for patients with trimalleolar fracture can improve their ankle joint function, reduce their pain, improve their knee joint mobility, and improve their satisfaction with nursing services.
