Objective To investigate the diagnostic value and experience of abdominal color ultrasound combined with high-frequency color ultrasound in children with intussusception. Methods A total of 93 children with suspected intussusception admitted to Tongling Fourth People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively included, all of whom underwent abdominal color ultrasound and high-frequency color ultrasound. The detection rate and clinical efficacy of two methods for the diagnosis of intussusception in children alone and in combination were compared. Results In 93 children with suspected intussusception,68 cases were positive and 25 cases were negative by barium colonoscopy X-ray,and the detection rate was 73.12%.The negative diseases included enteritis in 20 cases, acute appendicitis in 3 cases, diarrhea in 1 case and anaphylactoid purpura in 1 case. The detection rate, diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of abdominal color ultrasound combined with high-frequency color ultrasound in children with intussusception were significantly higher than those of the two methods alone(P<0.05).Conclusion Abdominal color ultrasound combined with high frequency color ultrasound can effectively improve the detection efficiency, sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the diagnosis of intussusception in children.
