Research progress on the predictors of irreversible intestinal necrosis in acute mesenteric ischemia
Acute mesenteric ischemia(AMI)is a class of disorders with inadequate gastrointestinal perfusion due to mesenteric vascular disease, usually of acute onset and rapid progression, which seriously threatens the patient's safety.Irreversible transmural intestinal necrosis(ITIN)is one of the major causes of AMI mortality. At present, accurate identification and prediction of ITIN remains a serious challenge in AMI.The purpose of this article is to review in detail the important predictors of ITIN in patients with AMI to understand the current research progress.
