Cascade Failure and Invulnerability Analysis of Equipment Support System-of-systems Based on Multi-layer Coupled Networks
In order to accurately describe the structural characteristics and failure process of equipment support system-of-systems,and enhance its function and invulnerability,a multi-layer coupled network model based on kill layer, support layer and storage layer for equipment support system-of-systems is built.Based on the kill chain, the characteristics and typical patterns of the maintenance and support chain and storage support chain are provided. Then, cascade failure mode and a new node importance assessment method of multi-layer coupled network characteristics of equipment support system-of-systems are considered. Finally, the corresponding network invulnerability assessment indexes are proposed. The simulation results show that the multi-layer coupled network model in consideration of cascade failure can better reflect the performance change of the equipment system-of-systems under attack. The proposed mission node importance can accurately identify critical nodes.Compared with the traditional metrics of network invulnerability, the number of remaining kill chains is more sensitive to invulnerability change of equipment support system-of-systems caused by cascade failures.
