Effect of Modified Wuzi Yanzong Pills in Patients with Infertility Induced by Luteal Phase Defect and Its Impact on Estrogen,PAPP-A and VEGF
Objective To analyze the effect of modified Wuzi Yanzong pills in the treatment of patients with infertility due to luteal insufficiency(LPD)and its effects on Estrogen,pregnancy-associated plasma protein A(PAPP-A),and vascu-lar endothelial growth factor(VEGF).Methods A total of 160 infertility patients with kidney deficiency and essence defi-ciency syndrome caused by LPD were selected from November 2021 to December 2022.They were divided into control group(n =80)and research group(n =80)by random number table method.The control group was treated with Dydrogesterone tablets,and the research group was treated with modified Wuzi Yanzong pills on the basis of the control group,all of which were treated for 3 menstrual cycles.The clinical efficacy,pregnancy success rate and the occurrence of adverse reactions dur-ing treatment were compared between the two groups.TCM syndrome score,serum levels of PAPP-A,VEGF,follicle-stimula-ting hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2)and progesterone were compared before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 93.75%(75/80)in the research group,which was higher than that[82.50%(66/80)]in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of FSH,LH,E2,progesterone,PAPP-A and VEGF in the research group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After follow-up of 3 menstrual cycles,the pregnancy success rate of the research group was 51.25%(41/80),which was significantly higher than that of the control group(35.00%,28/80)(P<0.05).No adverse drug reactions occurred in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion In the treatment of infertility patients with kidney deficiency and essence deficiency syndrome caused by LPD,Dydrogesterone tablets combined with modified Wuzi Yanzong pills achieved better clinical efficacy,which regulated endocrine metabolism of pa-tients,increased serum PAPP-A and VEGF levels,and improved pregnancy success rate.
