Expression of Serum Lp-PLA2 in Coronary Heart Disease in Perimenopa-usal Women and Its Relationship with Myocardial Remodeling
Objective To investigate the expression of serum lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)in coronary heart disease(CHD)in perimenopausal women and its relationship with myocardial remodeling.Methods A total of 100 perimenopausal women with CHD treated from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the observation group.Ac-cording to the results of CT angiography,the observation group was divided into 3 subgroups:mild stenosis subgroup(n = 45),moderate stenosis subgroup(n =35)and severe stenosis subgroup(n =20).The observation group was divided into two subgroups:elevated Lp-PLA2 subgroup(n =88)and normal Lp-PLA2 group(n =12)according to detection results of serum Lp-PLA2.Another 100 healthy perimenopausal women undergoing physical examination were selected as the control group.The serum Lp-PLA2 level between the observation group and the control group,the mild,moderate and severe stenosis sub-groups,and the cardiac structure and function indexes between the elevated Lp-PLA2 subgroup and the normal Lp-PLA2 sub-group were compared.Correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between serum Lp-PLA2 and cardiac struc-ture and function in perimenopausal patients with CHD.Results The serum Lp-PLA2(265.5±23.8)ng/mL in the obser-vation group was higher than that in the control group[(80.3±7.5)ng/mL](P<0.01).Serum Lp-PLA2 in severe steno-sis subgroup was higher than that in mild and moderate stenosis subgroups,and higher in moderate stenosis subgroup than in mild stenosis subgroup(P<0.05).Left atrial diameter and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter of the short axis in elevated Lp-PLA2 subgroup were longer than those in Lp-PLA2 normal subgroup,and left ventricular posterior wall thickness,interven-tricular septal thickness,left ventricular weight,left ventricular ejection fraction and shortening rate of left ventricular short ax-is were lower than those in normal Lp-PLA2 subgroup(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that Lp-PLA2 was positively correlated with left atrial diameter and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter of the short axis,and negatively correlated with left ventricular posterior wall thickness,ventricular septal thickness,left ventricular weight,left ventricular ejection fraction,and shortening rate of left ventricular short axis in perimenopausal patients with CHD(P<0.001).Conclusion The expres-sion level of Lp-PLA2 in the serum of perimenopausal patients with CHD is higher than that of healthy perimenopausal women,and it is closely correlated with myocardial remodeling.
