The Value of IL-1β,IL-12p70 and Combined Detection in the Diagnosis of Tuberculosis
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of IL-1β and IL-12p70 in tuberculosis patients by de-tecting the expression levels of these two cytokines. Method A total of 95 suspected tuberculosis patients admitted to Hebei Chest Hospital from November 2020 to October 2021 were selected as subjects. 40 cases of confirmed tuberculosis were included in the tuberculosis group (TB group) and 55 cases of non-tuberculosis were included in the non-tuberculosis group (NTB group). The expression levels of IL-1β and IL-12p70 in serum and their diagnostic efficacy were compared between the two groups. Result The expression levels of IL-1β and IL-12p70 were increased in the TB group, and the difference between TB group and MTB group was statistically significant (P<0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) cor-responding to receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves of patients diagnosed with TB were 0.696,0.719,and 0.738,respectively. The Yoden index values were 0.368,0.442,and 0.441,respectively. The levels of IL-1β and IL-12p70 were higher than the optimal cut-off value in 49 (51.6%) and 46 (48.4%) cases, respectively. There were 49 cases (51.6%) with positive results. Chi-square analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the three methods and TB-DNA detection (P>0.05). Kappa consistency analysis showed that the consistency of the three methods was less than 0.4,and the consistency was not ideal (P<0.001). Conclusion Parallel detection of IL-1β and IL-12p70 is useful for diagnosing tuberculosis, demonstrating significant diagnostic value.
