Value of Serum Cys-C,Il-6 Combined with Urinary Malb/Cr Ratio in the Early Diagnosis of Diabetes Nephropathy
Objective To analyze the early diagnostic value of serum cystatin C (Cys-C),interleukin-6 (IL-6),uri-nary microalbumin to creatinine (mALB/Cr) ratio in diabetes nephropathy (DN). Methods A total of 138 patients with DN (DN group) and 72 patients with simple diabetes (DM group) admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as subjects, another 69 people who had normal checkups in our hos-pital during the same period served as the control group. The levels of serum Cys-C,IL-6,and urine mALB/Cr ratio were measured and compared among the three groups;Logistic regression was used to investigate the factors influencing the de-velopment of DN;the value of serum Cys-C and IL-6 levels combined with urine mALB/Cr ratio for the early diagnosis of DN was analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC). Results There were no obvious differences in sex,age and BMI between the control group, the DM group and the DN group (P>0.05),but there were obvious differences in the course of diabetes, serum creatinine (Scr),blood urine nitrogen (BUN),UAER,low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C),and high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) (P<0.05). There were significant differences in serum Cys-C,IL-6 and urinary mALB/Cr ratio among control group,DM group and DN group (P<0.05). Serum Cys-C,IL-6 and urinary mALB/Cr ratio were in DN group>DM group>control group, and the difference was statistically significant. ROC curve results showed that the combined detection of serum Cys-C,IL-6,and urine mALB/Cr ratio for early diagnosis of DN had an AUC of 0.967,a sensi-tivity of 0.806,and a specificity of 0.864. Conclusion The levels of serum Cys-C,IL-6,and urine mALB/Cr ratio in DN patients are obviously increased, and the combined detection of the three has high diagnostic value for early DN.
