Clinical Efficacy of Intestinal Microecological Changes Induced by B.Subtilis Against Ulcerative Colitis
Objective To investigate the effect of probiotic Bacillus subtilis capsule on intestinal mucosal func-tion and the changes of intestinal flora in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC). Methods A total of 118 patients with UC from March 2022 to March 2023 were enrolled. The patients were divided into a control group (59 cases) and a study group (59 cases). The control group was treated with conventional therapy,while the study group was treated with Bacillus subtilis capsule on the basis of the control group. The improvement in intestinal mucosal f unction and the change in intestinal flora caused by Bacillus subtilis were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,the levels of inflammatory fac-tors,including CRP,IL-1β,and IL-8,in the study group were lower than those in the control group,while the levels of SOD and GSH-Px in the study group were higher than those in the control group. The MDA levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group. These differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Additionally,the levels of D-lactate,LAC,LPS,and DAO in the study group were also lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Bacillus subtilis capsule can effectively regulate inflammatory factors and oxidative stress indicators and improve intestinal mucosal function in the treatment of UC.
