Clinical Study on the Combination of Xuefu Zhuyu Tang and Acupoint Application in the Treatment of Stable Angina Pectoris in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Xuefu Zhuyu Tang combined with acupoint application in the treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients with coronary heart disease. Method Ninety-eight stable angina pectoris patients with coronary heart disease were divided into two groups:control group (treated with conventional Western medicine) and observation group (treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Tang combined with acupoint application in addition to the control group),with 49 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores,levels of inflammatory factors (CRP,TNF-α),and treatment safety were compared. Result The total effective rate of the observation group (91.84％) was significantly higher than that of the control group (73.47％,P<0.05). The observation group's main TCM syndrome scores (chest and rib disten-sion,shortness of breath,chest pain,dull complexion,skin bruising,tongue purple and dark,pulse sinking) and inflammatory factor levels (CRP,TNF-α) were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The combination of Xuefu Zhuyu Tang and acupoint application demonstrated significant efficacy in the treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients with coronary heart disease. It can alleviate the main TCM symptoms,lower inflammatory cytokine levels,and ensure good treatment safety.
