The Relationship between Serum TgAb,MCP-1,IL-13 Levels and Progno-sis of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis Patients
Objective To explore the relationship between thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb),monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1),interleukin-13(IL-13)levels and prognosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis(HT)patients. Methods A total of Eighty HT patients admitted to the Qidong people's hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the ET group, while 53 healthy patients undergoing physical examination in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Serum TgAb,MCP-1,IL-13 levels and thyroid hormone levels were measured and compared between the two groups, and their correlation was analyzed;Follow-up was conducted to evaluate the prognosis of patients, and serum TgAb,MCP-1 and IL-13 levels of HT patients with different prognosis were analyzed, and their predictive value on prognosis was ana-lyzed.Results Compared with the control group, the serum TgAb and MCP-1 levels in HT group were higher, while IL-13 levels were lower(P<0.05);The triiodothyronine(T3),free triiodothyronine(FT3),total thyroxine(T4)and free thyrox-ine(FT4)in HT group were lower than those in the control group, while the thyrostimulating hormone(TSH)was higher(P<0.05);Pearson correlation analysis showed that TgAb and MCP-1 were negatively correlated with T3,FT3,T4 and FT4(P<0.05),but positively correlated with TSH(P<0.05),and IL-13 was positively correlated with T3,FT3,T4 and FT4(P<0.05),but negatively correlated with TSH(P<0.05);80 patients were treated with L-T4 therapy, and the clinical remis-sion rate was 77.5%at 1 year follow-up.Serum TgAb and MCP-1 levels in patients with clinical remission were lower than those in patients without remission, but IL-13 levels were higher; The receiver operating characteristic curves showed that the area under the curve(AUC)values of serum TgAb,MCP-1 and IL-13 levels in predicting the prognosis of patients were 0.683,0.674 and 0.767,respectively,and the combined AUC value of the three indexes was 0.867.Conclusion Serum TgAb,MCP-1 and IL-13 levels are closely related to thyroid function in Hashimoto's thyroiditis patients, and the three indexes are of excellent prognostic value in evaluating patients.
