Analysis of the Correlation between Serum MUC1 and 6-Keto-PGF1α Levels and the Prognosis of Transfusion Therapy in Patients with Acute Gastrointesti-nal Bleeding
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum mucin 1(MUC1),6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-Keto-PGF1α)levels and the prognosis of transfusion therapy in patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods From September 2021 to September 2023,97 patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding who received transfusion therapy at our hospital were gath-ered and assigned into adverse group and good group according to prognosis.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was applied to an-alyze the levels of serum MUC1 and 6-Keto-PGF1α.Pearson method was applied to analyze the correlation between serum MUC1 and 6-Keto-PGF1α levels in the adverse group. Results The levels of serum MUC1 and 6-Keto-PGF1α in the good group were prominently lower than those in the adverse group(P<0.05).The levels of serum MUC1 and 6-Keto-PGF1α in the adverse group were positively correlated(r=0.366,P=0.017).The transfusion volume in the good group was less than that in the adverse group, and the proportion of history of digestive ulcers was lower than that in the adverse group(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum MUC1,6-Keto-PGF1α levels are elevated in patients with poor prognosis after transfusion therapy for acute gastrointestinal hemor-rhage,and in the future it may be possible to provide a reference for the prognostic situation after transfusion therapy for acute gas-trointestinal hemorrhage by monitoring serum MUC1,6-Keto-PGF1α levels.
