Comparison of the Efficacy of Arthroscopy Combined with Calcaneal Nail-ing System and Internal Fixation of Tarsal Sinus in the Treatment of Sand-ers Ⅱ and Ⅲ Calcaneal Fractures
Objective To compare the effect of arthroscopy combined with calcaneal nailing system and internal fixa-tion of tarsal sinus in the treatment of SandersⅡandⅢcalcaneal fractures. Methods 100 patients with fractures of SandersⅡ and Ⅲcalcaneal fractures treated in trauma orthopedics hand and foot surgery,Xingtan hospital affiliated to Shunde hospi-tal of southern medical university from January 2020 to December 2023 were collected and were divided into two groups with each 50 cases according to the random number table method. The control group treated with internal fixation of tarsal sinus, the observation group treated with arthroscopy combined with calcaneal nailing system.Surgery-related data and indicators,postop-erative recovery and scores, radiographic indicators, and complications. Results The operation time, hospital stay and the fracture healing time of observation group were shorter than control group, the intraoperative blood loss, incision length, ankle joint swelling and the VAS score of observation group were lower than the control group, the Maryland foot function score and AOFAS ankle-hind foot score, postoperative Bohler and Gissane angles of observation group were greater than the control group(P<0.05).The observation group of overall incidence of complications 8.00%,which was lower than control group 24.00%(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of Sanders Ⅱ and Ⅲ calcaneal fractures combined with calcaneal nailing is effec-tive,which can effectively promote postoperative recovery, and reduce the risk of complications.
