Analysis of the Application Effect of Hot Glue Vertical Compression in Pa-tients with Endodontic Disease
Objective To investigate the effect of vertical compression of hot dental glue in patients with endodontic disease.Methods 81 patients with endodontic disease treated from March 2019 to March 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects,and were divided into observation group(41 cases)and control group(40 cases)according to different filling methods.The two groups were treated with root canal filling.The observation group was treated with hot gum vertical compression,while the control group was treated with cold lateral compression.Both groups were followed up for 6 months.The clinical efficacy,filling effect and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared,as well as the changes of periodontal indexes and inflam-matory factors before and after treatment.Results 6 months after treatment,the total effective rate of control group and ob-servation group was higher than that of the latter(P<0.05).One month after treatment,compared with the control group and the observation group,the latter had a higher rate of just filling(P<0.05).One month after treatment,the bleeding index,gingival index and plaque index of 2 groups were decreased,and the changes were more significant in the observation group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Mastication efficiency was increased,and the change was more obvious in observation group(P<0.05,P<0.01).One month after treatment,the serum levels of interleukin-2,interleukin-6,interleukin-1β and C reactive protein in 2 groups were decreased,and the changes were more significant in the observation group(P<0.05,P<0.01).During the observation period,the total incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was lower than that in the observa-tion group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of vertical compression with hot glue is better in patients with endodontic dis-ease,which can improve clinical efficacy,improve periodontal indexes,reduce inflammatory reaction and have good safety.
