Effect of Image Therapy Combined with Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Promotion Technique on Limb Function Recovery in Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia
Objective To explore the effects of image therapy(MT)combined with proprioceptive neuromuscular fa-cilitation(PNF)on limb function recovery in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods 68 patients with hemiplegia were se-lected from June 2022 to December 2023 and divided into observation group(36 cases)and control group(32 cases)accord-ing to treatment methods. The observation group was treated with PNF combined with MT,and the control group was treated with PNF for 6 weeks. After treatment, the efficacy of the two groups was compared.Limb function[Fugl-Meyer Motor Func-tion Rating Scale(FMA),Motor Function State Scale(MSS)],walking balance ability[Berg Balance Scale(BBS),10 m Maximum walking speed],neurological function[National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)],and activity of daily living[Modified Barthel Index(MBI),Functional Independence Measure(FIM)].Results After treatment, the total ef-fective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment,FMA-upper limb,FMA-lower limb,MSS,BBS,MBI,FIM scores and 10 m maximum walking speed in observation group were higher than those in control group, and NIHSS scores were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion MT combined with PNF has a significant effect on the recovery of limb function in stroke patients with hemiplegia, and can effectively im-prove the limb motor function, balance ability, nerve function and the ability of daily living.
