Effect of PanOptix and SV25T0 Multi-focus Intraocular Lens Implantation on Visual Quality of Cataract Patients
Objective To analyze the visual recovery effect of PanOptix and SV25T0 multi-focal intraocular lens(MIOL)implantation.Methods 49 patients(61 eyes)who underwent phacoemulsification and MIOL implantation from February 11,2023 to February 11,2024 were selected and divided into PanOptix group[24 cases(32 eyes)]with MIOL im-plantation according to the type of lens implantation.Twenty-five patients(29 eyes)in SV25T0 group were implanted with SV25T0 MIOL.The naked eye near vision,middle distance vision and far vision of the two groups were observed before and 3 months after surgery,and the off-focus curve was drawn at 3 months after surgery,and a questionnaire survey was conducted.Results At 3 months after operation,there was no significant difference between SV25T0 group and PanOptix group in dis-tance and middle distance visual acuity(P＞0.05).The naked near-eye visual acuity of PanOptix group was significantly bet-ter than that of SV25T0 group(P＜0.05).The visual acuity of Panoptix group was higher than SV25T0 group at-2.5--4.0D(P＜0.05).At 1 and 3 months after operation,the spherical aberration and coma in PanOptix group were smaller than those in SV25T0 group(P＜0.05).At 3 months after operation,the full frequency contrast sensitivity of PanOptix group was higher than SV25T0 group in dark room with or without glare background(P＜0.05).There was significant difference in total visual function scores between the two groups(P＜0.05).The mobile reading score of PanOptix group was better than SV25T0 group(P＜0.05).The delens rate of PanOptix group was93.10%(27/29)higher than that of SV25T0 group(78.12%(25/32),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Both PanOptix MIOL and SV25T0 MIOL implantation can improve postoperative visual acuity of cataract patients,but PanOptix MIOL implantation can provide better near vision ability.
