Study on the Correlation Between Serum GDF15,preptin Levels and Early Pregnancy Anxiety and Depression in Pregnant Women
Objective To investigate the correlation between anxiety and depression in the first trimester and levels of serum growth differentiation factor 15(GDF15)and preptin. Methods A total of 200 women in the first trimester who had reg-ular antenatal check-up from November 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into anxie-ty and depression group(124 cases)and normal group(76 cases). The expression levels of GDF15 and preptin in serum were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The correlation between the expression levels of GDF15 and Prep-tin in serum and the scores of self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)was analyzed by Spearman method.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of anxiety and depression in women in early pregnancy. Results There were significant differences in family per capita monthly income,work-life pressure and pregnancy intention between anxiety and depression group and normal group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Compared with normal group, the expression level of GDF15 in anxiety and depression group was significantly increased, and the expression level of preptin was significantly decreased(P<0.01).As the severity of anxiety and depression gradually increased from mild to se-vere,the expression level of GDF15 was gradually significantly increased, the expression level of preptin was gradually signifi-cantly decreased, and the scores of SAS and SDS were significantly increased(P<0.01).Spearman correlation analysis showed that serum GDF15 was positively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=0.447,0.491,P<0.05),and serum preptin was negatively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=-0.424,-0.590,P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that preptin was a protective factor for anxiety and depression in the first trimester, while GDF15,per capita monthly family income,work-life pressure and pregnancy intention were risk factors for anxiety and depression in the first trimester(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The expression level of GDF15 and preptin in serum is increased and decreased in patients with anxiety and depression in early pregnancy, which is closely related to the severity of anxiety and depression in early pregnancy.
