Effects of Semaglutide Combined with Dydrogesterone on Hormone Levels and Ovarian Function in Infertile Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Objective To investigate the effects of Semaglutide combined with desdrogesterone on sex hormone levels and ovarian function in infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods The clinical data of 100 pa-tients with PCOS infertility diagnosed and treated from May 2022 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divid-ed into observation group and control group according to treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Dydrogestone, and the observation group was treated with Semaglutide.Sex hormone levels, ovarian function, menstrual cycle and body mass management indexes were evaluated before and after treatment. Results The effective rate of observation group[94.00%(47/50)]was significantly higher than that of control group[80.00%(40/50)],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,luteining-hormone/follicle-stimulating hormone ratio, ovarian volume, testosterone level, body mass index and waist-to-hip ratio in observation group were lower than control group, follicle number was lower than control group, menstrual cycle was shorter, estradiol level was higher than control group, and endometrial thickness was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Smaglutide combined with Dydrogestone can effectively improve the sex hormone levels, ovarian function and body mass indexes of PCOS infertility patients.
