Effects of Zolpidem Combined with Trazodone Tablets on Sleep Structure and Cognitive Function in Elderly Patients with Parkinson's Disease
Objective To investigate the effects of Zolpidem combined with Trazodone tablets on sleep structure and cognitive function in elderly patients with Parkinson's disease sleep disorder(PDSD).Methods 100 elderly PDSD patients diagnosed and treated from August 2019 to July 2024 were divided into control group and observation group according to ran-dom number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment for Parkinson's dis-ease plus Zolpidem, and the observation group was combined with Trazodone tablets on this basis. The sleep structure,Simple mental state Examination(MMSE),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality(PSQI)and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)scales were evaluated. Results After treatment, the proportion of N1 stage,N2 stage, wake time, wake times and sleep latency in observation group were significantly decreased compared with control group, while N3 stage and REM stage were significantly increased compared with control group(P<0.05).After treatment,PSQI scores in 2 groups were significantly lower than be-fore treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the observa-tion group was[92.00%(46/50)]higher than that of the control group[74.00%(37/50)],and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).After treatment,MMSE and MoCA scores in 2 groups were significantly higher than before treat-ment,and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Zolpidem combined with Trazodone can significantly improve sleep structure and cognitive function in elderly patients with PDSD,and enhance clinical efficacy.
