Objective To observe the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with platelet-rich plasma(PRP)on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods A total of 150 KO A patients from Handan Central Hospital from June 2018 to February 2022 were collected and divided into 61 patients in electroacupuncture group,41 patients in PRP group and 48 patients in electroacupuncture+PRP group according to different treatment protocols.The electroacupuncture treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture,the PRP group was treated with intra-articular injection of PRP,and the electroacupuncture+PRP group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with PRP.All the continuous treatment lasted for five weeks.Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores,Lequesne index,Western Ontario McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)scores and motion range of knee were compared before and after treatment in the three groups,and the clinical efficacy of the three groups was evaluated.Results After five weeks of treatment,VAS score,Lequesne index and WOMAC score in electroacupuncture+PRP group were lower than those in electroacupuncture and PRP group(t=15.925、28.116、16.710、19.822、12.641、15.912,all P＜0.05).The motion of knee joint in electroacupuncture+PRP group was higher than that in electroacupuncture and PRP group(t=9.275、20.279,all P＜0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture combined with PRP in the treatment of KOA is effective and worthy of clinical application.
