Preparation of Carbon Fiber Paper-Based Electrode for Supercapacitors
To bring down the cost and brittleness of commercial carbon fiber paper,a production method of carbon fiber paper for flexible supercapacitors was proposed. The dispersant CMC-Na is utilized to achieve uniform dispersion of chopped carbon fiber in water through ultrasonic dispersion.Adding PE/PET composite fiber not only enhances the tensile strength of CFP but also consolidates the electrode network structure formed based on carbon fiber structure. The morphology and structure of carbon fiber paper-based electrode(CFP-X)were characterized by scanning electron microscope scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman spectroscopy, and the mechanical properties, electrical conductivity and electrochemical properties of CFP-X electrode were tested. The results show that CFP-3 electrode has excellent tensile strength and flexibility, excellent electrochemical performance and low cost. This research provides valuable insights for the low-cost,large-scale production of paper-based flexible supercapacitors.
