According to data from the third fiscal quarter of 2023,business for Japanese paper companies is still difficult after the Covid-19 pandemic. The performance of only a few paper companies has improved, while the performance of most paper companies is still sluggish.Analysts said that the decline in paper company performance was mainly due to weak market demand; while the profits growth mainly benefited from the increase in paper and paperboard prices.
