Abstract
Statistics recently released by the Brazilian Wood Industry Association (Ibá) show that in 2023, Brazil's total pulp exports reached 18 million tons, of which pulp exports to China accounted for 49%, accounting for nearly 50% of its total exports. Thanks to its strong project portfolio in pulp, paper, wood, afforestation and other fields, Brazil is expected to continue to strengthen its brand in the forestry sector in the coming years. By 2028, Brazil will invest 61.9 billion reais in the forestry sector, of which 22.2 billion reais will be invested in Suzano's Cerrado project in Brazil.
